Important! In order to y lower than the set min. height
you must keep the throttle stick at its miniumum position for
min. 5 seconds.

22.1 Avoid crashes

batteryinacertainplacetheatmosphericpressureismeasuredandtakenas‘zero’value,
fromwhichthemin.heightiscalculated.

OncetheNavigator250surpasses40m(actual1040m),LowAltitudeControlistriggered
andtheNavigator250willnotdescendlowerthanthe40mmark(±2m).
ThepilotmustbeawarethattheNavigator250doesnotconsiderobstaclesthatarewithin
thesetheightandcanthereforeeasilycrashintoobjectsinitspath(see»Fig.15).
23. Maintenance, care and repair

23.1 Regular cleaning and maintenance
23.1.1 Cleaning
TheNavigator250isasimplebutwell-designedyingdevice.Therearenomechanical
partsthatneedtobelubricatedorrequirespecialmaintenance.However,aftereachight
youshouldcleantheNavigator250ofpossibledirt(woolstrings,dust,etc.).
Forcleaning,useadryorslightlydampclothandavoidcontactbetweenwaterandthe
electronics,rechargeablebatteryandmotors.
23.1.2 Maintenance and repairs
Defectivecomponentspresentahazard.Replacealldamagedcomponentsbeforeying
theNavigator250again.Itisimportantthatyouonlyuseoriginalspareparts.Non-original
sparepartscanleadtodamageandaccidents,ormaynotbeofsufcientquality.
23.2 Drift

Cold temperature environmental conditions may require sensitive electronic
components to reach ideal operating temperature slower as compared to under
favourableconditionssuchasroomtemperature.
■
Under such cold conditions your unit may tend to drift in any direction, increasing
gradually.Smalldriftsinanydirectionarenormal,however.Driftmayalsobecausedby
propellerwashwhileyingclosetogroundsurface.OperatetheNavigator250within
thetemperaturerangegiveninthetechnicaldata.
IfyouneedtocontinuouslytrimtheNavigator250toensureproperyingthenthismaybe
duetooneofthefollowingreasons:
