To set your engine's lights to indicate that it is pulling a string of cars behind it, press
the LMK softkey so the DCS Remote displays “Marker Light OFF”. Your engine's
lights will now look like this (For Swiss Operation):
The second lighting feature of your Traxx Electric Engine allows you to display either
Swiss or German operation. To change between German or Swiss Operation, you want
to press the LBE softkey (the Default is Swiss). Below are illustrations showing the
lighting for German or Swiss Operation.
Swiss Operation is the default and will be based upon how you have the Train/No-
Train indicator set. To ensure Swiss Operation lighting is being used press the LBE
softkey on your DCS Remote so it displays “Beacon Light ON”. To switch to German
Operation, press the LBE softkey so that the DCS Remote displays “Beacon Light OFF”.
Your new Traxx Electric Engine has two new lighting features not found on any other
models. You are now able to, by selecting two different softkeys on the DCS Remote,
change how the engine's lights respond. Please refer to your DCS Manual for
definitions and further explanation on how softkeys are utilized in your PS3.0-equipped
engine. Below is a lighting diagram.
For Train/No-Train Indicators:
To set the Train/No-Train indicator Lights you want to press the LMK softkey so the
DCS Remote displays “Marker Light ON”. By default your engine will be set to a No-
Train indication. That means your engine has no string of cars being pulled. Your
engine lighting will look like this:
