HEADLINE SAFETY WARNINGS Never allow more than one person at a time to ride the product. Razor recommends that children under the age of 18 not be permitted to use this product. This recommendation is based not just on age or weight or height; it reflects consideration of expected maturity and skills as well as physical size.
HEADLINE BEFORE YOU BEGIN Remove contents from box. Remove the separators that protect the components from damage during shipping. Inspect the contents of the box for scratches in the paint, dents that may have occurred during shipping. Because your scooter was partially assembled and packed at the factory, there should not be any problems, even if the box has a few scars or dents. MAKE SURE POWER BUTTON IS TURNED “OFF” BEFORE CONDUCTING ANY ASSEMBLY OR MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES.
HEADLINE AND SET-UP ASSEMBLY Attaching the Handlebars Required Tool: 5 mm Allen Wrench (included) Throttle (Black Lever) Brake (Red Lever) 1 Remove T-bar assembly from box 2 Insert the handlebar with controls 3 Using the 5 mm Allen and remove the handlebar clamp from the top of the steering tube using a 5 mm Allen wrench. (brake and throttle) facing the rider. wrench replace and tighten the handlebar clamp.
HEADLINE AND SET-UP ASSEMBLY Unfolding the Scooter for First Time Use Note: Remove plastic covers on rear axle bolt before unfolding scooter. Discard plastic covers. WARNING: Keep fingers clear of the pivoting mechanism when folding or unfolding the scooter. Make sure others are standing clear. 1 To release the folding mechanism, place the scooter on the ground. Pull the Anti-Rattle knob up to raise T-bar.
HEADLINE AND SET-UP ASSEMBLY Inflating the Tire The front tire is inflated when shipped, but it invariably may lose some pressure between the point of manufacturing and your purchase. Always inflate tire to the correct PSI before first time use. Lower air pressure can result in a shorter ride time. Periodically check front tire. Reinflate when needed. WARNING: Do not use the electric scooter for the first time until you have inflated the front tire to the correct PSI.
HEADLINE PRE-RIDE CHECKLIST Lights Hardware/Loose Parts Check the head- and tail-lights for proper function. When you activate the lights (reference “How To Ride” on page 8 of this manual), the headlight and taillight should illuminate. Before every ride, check all parts, such as nuts, bolts, fasteners, etc., to ensure they are secure and assembled correctly. There should not be any unusual rattles or sounds from loose parts or broken components. If the product is damaged, do not ride.
HEADLINE USAGE How to Ride Do not activate the thumb throttle unless you are on the E Prime III and in a safe, outdoor environment suitable for riding. Put kickstand up. Note: Electric scooter must be moving at least 3 mph (5 km/h) while engaging throttle to engage motor. Press the power button (A), the LEDs on the battery display will light up. Headlight and Taillight: To activate the headlight and taillight the product must be powered ON.
HEADLINE USAGE Battery Power Level Indicator 3 Blue + 1 Yellow + 1 Red Indicator Lights - Battery is sufficiently charged. Yellow + Red Indicator Lights - Charge product as soon as possible. If you continue to ride the product, the yellow light will turn off indicating low power. Red Indicator Light - Stop riding and charge product immediately.
HEADLINE REPAIR & MAINTENANCE Front Tire Replacement Required Tools: Two (2) 5 mm Allen Wrenches (not included) Nuts Spacer Wheel Hub Fastener Bolts Bearings Tube Tire Bearings 1 Using two (2) 5 mm Allen wrenches, loosen the axle bolt. Remove wheel and install replacement wheel.
