 Park Distance Control (PDC)

, for front
and rear or rear only, facilitates the process of
parking and manoeuvring in confined spaces,
giving you an acoustic signal for the distance
between your car and an obstacle. In conjunction
with the navigation system*, PDC will also
provide a visual indication on the monitor display.
 TV function. The  . " display can be used
as a TV set while the vehicle is stationary.
Enables reception of terrestrial analogue and
digital (DVB-T) television programmes (only
in combination with Navigation system
Professional).

Air conditioning system, incl. microfilter
and air recirculation switch, ensures comfortable
climatic conditions in the vehicle interior at any
time of the year, with manual adjustment of air
volume and distribution.

Auxiliary heating with remote control

–
ideal in winter and on cold days. When you get
into your car, the windows are already free of
ice and the interior is cosy and warm.

On-board computer displays information
about average speed, average fuel consumption
and range.
 Auto Start/Stop* in the Info Display tells you
when the engine has been switched off by the
Auto Start/Stop function (for example at traffic
lights or in a tailback). The display is switched
off when the engine is restarted automatically
(on all four-cylinder models with manual
transmission).
 Optimum Shift Indicator

tells you when
shifting to another gear would save fuel. The
system indicates whether you should shift up or
down and adapts its recommendations to your
driving style. When accelerating, for example,
the next shift indication comes at the point where
a higher gear would enable you to continue
accelerating at the same rate, but with reduced
fuel consumption.

