Every last detail of the BMW  Series Touring has been designed with a single thought in mind: the driver should
be able to concentrate on the road. That’s why you’ll fi nd all the controls in exactly the place where you’d expect
to fi nd them. The optional latest-generation iDrive system, comprising the navigation system, Control Display and
a Controller in the centre console, ensures a lack of clutter, combined with intuitive control. The menu system is
simple and features an excellent high-resolution graphic design. The buttons placed around the Controller have
different shapes, making it easy to distinguish them by touch. So you can always keep your eyes on the road.
Added comfort is provided by the Navigation system Professional shown here. This features an integrated
hard disk for map data and audio fi les. CD data, too, can simply be copied to the hard disk. The optional USB/audio
interface in the centre console enables you to connect your iPod to the system, for example. In addition,
BMW ConnectedDrive* provides a comprehensive range of services including preparation for Internet access* and
the ability to send and receive e-mails. In this way, you can always remain in touch with things, even when you’re
on the road – that is, if you still want to, once you have sat down at the wheel of the BMW  Series Touring.
