To ride safely, YOU MUST READ AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS IN THIS MANUAL. WARNING: Riding any electric product can be a hazardous activity. Certain conditions may cause the equipment to fail without fault of the manufacturer. Like other electric ride-on products, the Razor Hovertrax 1.
SAFETY WARNINGS USING THE CHARGER The charger supplied with the electric product should be regularly examined for damage to the cord, plug, enclosure and other parts. In the event of such damage, the product must not be charged until the charger has been repaired or replaced. Never use headphones or a cell phone when riding. Never hitch a ride with another product. Do not ride the Razor Hovertrax 1.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN Remove contents from box. Remove the separators that protect the components from damage during shipping. Inspect the contents of the box for scratches or dents that may have occurred during shipping. Because the Hovertrax 1.5 was assembled and packed at the factory, there should not be any problems, even if the box has a few scars or dents. Please keep this box in case you need to send the Hovertrax 1.5 back for service or repairs.
ASSEMBLY AND SET UP Calibration Confirmation Note: Your Hovertrax 1.5 should have been calibrated at the factory. 1 2 Turn power ON. If product remains level or adjusts to become level, calibration has been confirmed. No further steps are needed. Place Hovertrax 1.5 on a level surface. CHARGING THE BATTERY Your Hovertrax 1.5 comes with a lithium-ion battery pack. Your Hovertrax 1.5 may not have a fully charged battery; therefore you must charge the battery prior to use. Be sure to charge the battery in a clean, dry location away from direct sunlight, flames or sparks. • Use only Razor Hovertrax 1.5 charger. • Initial charge time: 6 hours. • Recharge time: up to 4 hours, even if the light turns green. Recommended maximum charging time is 24 hours.
HOW TO OPERATE HOW IT WORKS The Hovertrax 1.5 responds to the rider's foot movements. Remember this. The Hovertrax 1.5 moves due to fore and aft foot platform tilt caused by the rider’s foot (or feet). Movement, speed, and stopping are controlled by the degree to which the rider’s feet cause the foot platforms of the Hovertrax 1.5 to no longer be parallel to the ground. Note: Do not lift the Hovertrax 1.5 off the ground when it is turned on. Do not turn on the Hovertrax 1.5 in mid-air.
HOW TO OPERATE HOW TO CHANGE MODES: Note: Whatever mode the Hovertrax 1.5 was left in when turned off, will be the mode it begins in when turned back on. Green Turn power switch "ON". Training mode (Default mode from factory) To Change to Normal Mode: Note: To go back to training mode, turn power OFF, then press power switch button ON. Press power switch button twice before all indicator lights come on. Orange Green Press power switch button twice before all indicator lights come on.
HOW TO OPERATE HOW TO GET ON Once you have charged the battery (see page 6 for charging information): 1. Power On: Set the Hovertrax 1.5 on the ground and turn the power on. The battery/power mode indicator will show either one or two lights to indicate mode (see page 8 for instructions on switching modes). Do NOT proceed to step two (2) until all lights on the indicator light up. 2. First Foot: While standing behind the Hovertrax 1.
HOW TO OPERATE RIDING TIPS • Learn to ride the Hovertrax 1.5 in a large, safe area free from all forms of interference. • Keep your posture upright, but relaxed. Align your body over the Hovertrax 1.5 and use a wide stance with your feet close to the wheels. • Be alert. Scan both far ahead and in front of you - your eyes are your best tool for safely avoiding obstacles and slippery surfaces. • Hold your arms comfortably at your side. • Start at a slow and comfortable pace.

WARRANTY Razor Limited Warranty The manufacturer is not liable for incidental or consequential loss or damage due directly or indirectly to the use of this product. The manufacturer warranties this product to be free of manufacturing defects for a period of 90 days from date of purchase. This Limited Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, tires, tubes or cables, or any damage, failure or loss caused by improper assembly, maintenance, storage or use of the Razor Hovertrax 1.5.
