Using your hand, carefully turn the upper
headset crown counterclockwise 1/4” at a time
until handlebars turn smoothly. Test after each
1/4” turn.
Note: Make sure the handlebars are properly aligned with the front wheel before riding. If handlebars
are not aligned, loosen the bolt on the collar clamp and adjust the front wheel until it is perpendicular
with the handlebar. When properly aligned; retighten collar clamp bolt.
Retighten nut (Note: Be careful not to over tighten.
Overtightening can damage the ball bearings
inside the headset). Hold upper headset crown
in place when tightening the nut to prevent the
crown from moving. Slide collar clamp down
and re-tighten bolt.
