4 SeaTalk Autopilot Hand-held Remote
Connecting the hand-held remote
The hand-held remote is connected directly to Raymarine autopilots
or instruments using SeaTalk (the Raymarine data interface system).
The remote is supplied with a waterproof plug and socket that can be
installed anywhere a remote is required. The socket allows you to
make connections directly to the autopilot or SeaTalk instrument, as
described on the following pages.
Connections to Raymarine autopilots
Note: In all of the following cases, the handheld remote can be
connected via any available SeaTalk instrument or control unit
rather than directly to the autopilot.
