Safety Anti-Entrapment Protection
In December 2007, the Virginia Graeme Baker Act, which requires public pool and spa operators
to install specific safety devices to prevent further injury and loss of life due to entrapment, was
signed into law. Full details of the requirements of the VGB Act can be found as www.cpsc.gov.
