Inboard Autopilot System
Raymarine’s new Smartpilot X range of inboard autopilots offer more power and greater steering accuracy with
advanced steering software and powerful new features. The new ST70 autopilot control enables you to take
full advantage of the SmartPilot X Series capabilities and performance. Each system must include at least one
ST70 autopilot control, but additional ST6002, ST7002 or ST8002 control heads can also be added for multi-
station control. The pilot can also be engaged directly from a Raymarine combi display.

Selecting your Smartpilot X Series
The Raymarine Smartpilots are designed to
suit virtually any kind of boat that is afloat up to
35,000kg (77,000lb) displacement. The flexible
modular system allows you to build up a package
of drive, electronics core pack and control unit to
suit your unique requirements -

2. Core Pack Selection
The core pack is the electronics package for the
autopilot which includes the course computer,
compass and feedback unit (X-30 & X-SOL only).
There are three core packs available, and these
are specified depending on the drive unit type
selected in stage 1 -

Second Station Control Head
The ST6002 is a basic optional secondary control
unit that can be used alongside the main ST70
control head. It features a large clear display with an
analogue rudder angle indicator.
