Buoyant Handheld VHF Radio
This revolutionary 5W floating radio is waterproof to IPX7 and has been designed to be
easy to use. The ergonomic design of the case means it’s easy to hold and use, even
with gloved hands. As with all Icom handhelds, it features a large, easy to read backlit
LCD and the 980mAh Li-Ion battery pack provides 9 hours of operating time. Another
innovative feature is the “AquaQuake” draining function - a vibrating sound from the
loudspeaker clears water away from the speaker grille.

Handheld VHF Radio
The IC-M71 sets the standard for handheld VHF radios in design, waterproofing and
battery technology. The durable and rugged body is waterproof to IPX8 standard and
it was the first VHF marine handheld to feature output power of 6 Watts. Its internal
speaker uses a bridge-tied load (BTL) audio amplifier to increase the audio output and
it delivers a loud 600mW audio output for clear sound, even in noisy environments.
The AquaQuake function ejects water from the speaker grille with low frequency sound.

Buoyant Handheld VHF Radio
Imagine a radio that’s smart enough to adjust its own volume level to account for the
surrounding noise level. Icom’s new IC-M35 buoyant VHF marine handheld radio
does just that with its Clear Voice Boost technology. This measures the ambient sound
pressure level so that during a sudden burst of noise the IC-M35 not only automatical-
ly adjusts the volume but also the transmit level as well so your conversation is sent
and received as clearly as possible no matter how noisy the background is. The
inbuilt noise cancelling microphone further enhances the audio quality.

ICOM MXA-5000
Dual Channel AIS Receiver
This black box dual channel AIS receiver allows boat
owners to receive AIS info (both Class A and Class B
signals) on two channels simultaneously and output
the information onto compatible PCs, combi displays,
chartplotters or radars, aiding navigation and collision
avoidance.

ICOM MA-500TR
Class B AIS Transponder
Designed for non-SOLAS vessels such as pleasure
craft and fishing boats, the MA-500TR AIS transpon-
der not only receives information from AIS vessels
within range, it also transmits your vessel’s informa-
tion as well, so you will be seen by other vessels. It
features a full dot-matrix display and visually shows
real-time vessel traffic information.
The MA-500TR can operate as a stand alone unit or
it can be connected via NMEA to a PC or compatible
chartplotters, radars etc allowing AIS data to be over-
layed in real time onto chart and radar displays. It
can also be integrated with the Icom IC-M505 and
IC-M603 fixed VHF radios which allows you to send
DSC individual calls to a selected vessel instantly
without the need to manually enter the vessel’s
MMSI number (requires firmware upgrade).
