Switch LED indications
Problem Possible cause / solution Possible solutions
No data source for the fishfinder. DSM power supply fault. Check the DMS power supply.
Refer to troubleshooting Power up on page 92.
Other DSM fault. Refer to the instructions supplied with the DSM unit.

network problem. Check that the DSM is correctly connected to the

switch.
Check the status of the SeaTalk

Switch.
Refer to troubleshooting Status LEDs on page 98.
Check that SeaTalk

cables are free from damage.
Software mismatch between equipment may
prevent communication.

Invalid custom configuration message Indicates an invalid manual override of switch
settings at the transducer

LED State (Connected channels only) Causes
For all connected channels:
1 steady and 1 flashing green LED.
No problem detected
(Steady LED indicates network connection
Flashing LED indicates network traffic)
No LEDs are illuminated No power to SeaTalk

Some LEDs are not illuminated Cable / connection faults on the channels with non-illuminated LEDs.
Equipment connected to non-illuminated LEDs may be faulty.
