Ultra Compact 12v Marine PC

The CF50 is one of the most compact PC systems in the world, but unlike many other compact PCs, it uses a

genuine Intel M processor for ultra-reliable and powerful computing and is designed to work with Windows

operating systems. It is ideal for electronic charting, navigation and communication and its fast graphics

processor means quick redraws of electronic charts.

AQUAMEDIA AM100 & AM110

Marine MediaCenter PC System

DigitalYacht’s AquaMedia system is ideal if you’re looking for an all in one onboard navigation, communication

and entertainment system. The AM100 is supplied pre-set up with Windows MediaCenter edition, CD-RW/DVD

drive and a digital TV tuner with remote control. The AM110 has the same specification, but with an analogue

TV tuner.

Watch TV, listen to music, play movies and the latest

games, plot your next route, download a weather

chart or the newest synopsis - all of this and more is

possible with a powerful system such as this.

Marine PC

Compact, powerful and reliable, the CF100 is your onboard navigation hub. It makes real economic sense - a

single unit provides navigation, communication and weather at an incredibly attractive price, less than the aver-

age cost of a standard dedicated 15in colour chart plotter. The bundle pack includes everything you need to

get started - even an interface cable.

inbuilt wireless network access (ideal for Internet access in Wi-Fi equipped marinas) and a total of 5 serial ports

allowing multiple NMEA, AIS and instrument inputs.

Boats & PCs - do they mix?

There is a lot to be said for having a PC

on board your boat - many companies

are now producing a wide range of applications

for the high tech boat owner.

Typical onboat PC hub installation

Charting

With high quality charts available on CD-ROM or

via a card reader, coupled with powerful naviga-

tion software such as Raymarine’s Raytech or

MaxSea and your PC becomes a fully featured

chartplotter and navigation centre.

Weatherfax

A few years ago, satellite weather images

beamed directly to your boat belonged to the

realms of the professional offshore racing yacht

or a luxury superyacht. Now affordable software

packages allow you to link your PC to a SSB or

Satphone and download up to the minute

weather charts and forecasts for your area to

view on screen or output to printer.

Communication

With affordable Satcom systems like Iridium and

new developments such as “always on” satellite

broadband internet access, you can stay in touch

virtually anywhere in the world.

The floating office

If you don’t spend as much time on your boat as

you would like because there’s always that

important report to finish for Monday morning,

think of the advantages of having a powerful, reli-

able PC on board. Run all your favourite applica-

tions and finish that spreadsheet while en-route

to your favourite anchorage.

What about power?

DigitalYacht’s new CF50 runs off the boat’s 12v

system. However if you have to fit an inverter, it

can also run a wide range of household appli-

ances on board. Mastervolt make a wide range

of stable sinewave inverters in a variety of power

outputs - ideal for sensitive equipment such as

computers. With fast switchover circuitry, you can

change from battery to shore power and back

again without the PC even noticing.
