INSTRUCTIONS

MOUNTING YOUR OCTA SOFTBOX TO THE SPEED RING

1. Open and unfold your

softbox, and ﬁt the speed

ring inside the center hole.

Make sure the speed ring’s

rod sockets are on the

same side as the pebbled,

reﬂective interior of your

softbox and are aligned

with your softbox’s rod

pockets.

2. Insert the plain black end

of one of your softbox’s

ﬂex rods into one of the

speed ring’s rod sockets.

3. Fit the silver-tipped end

of the ﬂex rod into the

corresponding rod pocket

of your softbox. You may

need to bend the ﬂex rod

to do this.
