6. Mount the crossbar into the threaded posts.

• If necessary, remove the wing nut and one washer and ﬁt

the crossbar onto the threaded post and washer.

• Place the second washer over the crossbar. Replace the

wing nut and tighten it until secure.

Make certain that the support system is steady and in position

before adding backdrops.

It’s a good practice to secure the legs of your background supports

with a sandbag or weight bag.

INSTALLING A BACKGROUND

For a cloth background:

1. Remove the crossbar and slide it into the looped hem on top of

the background.

2. If your fabric background doesn’t have a looped hem, secure

the background to the crossbar with the included “A” clamps.

Then remount the crossbar.

For a seamless paper background:

1. Lift one end of your crossbar from its support stand. Slide the

paper roll over the crossbar. Then remount the crossbar.

2. Pull down the paper roll to the desired length. Secure the

seamless paper roll with the included clamps or gaffers tape to

prevent it from unrolling.
