INTRODUCTION Thank you for choosing the Raya Collapsible Reflector Disc. Raya reflectors are an effective in-studio or on-location light manipulating tool. Please use the following instructions for setup and storage of your reflector disc.
INSTRUCTIONS USING THE DIFFUSER Note: use caution when opening collapsed disc. The Raya Collapsible Reflector Disc has a 1 f-stop diffuser inside the reversable reflector sleeve. The translucent center panel diffuses light, producing a softer light source with a wraparound effect that's perfect for outdoor portraits or whenever a softer light is needed. Simply unzip the sleeve to remove the diffuser. Reinsert the diffuser into the sleeve before storing.
REFLECTIVE SURFACE GUIDE White: Provides a neutral soft-fill reflection. Silver: Similar to the white surface but reflects light with a higher contrast. Gold: Reflects a warmer light onto a subject, enhancing skin tone in neutral or cool light situations. Black: Blocks unwanted reflections and kills light spill.
FOLDING FOR STORAGE 1 Be sure the reflector sleeve is securely zipped closed on the diffuser disc before folding. 2 Grasp the reflector disc as shown. Note that your thumbs should be on opposite sides of the disc.
FOLDING FOR STORAGE 3 Twist the reflector into a figure-eight shape. 4 Continue twisting and pull the two sides together as shown. The two sides will pass one in front of the other until they are stacked together.
ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY This RAYA product is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal consumer use for a period of one (1) year from the original purchase date or thirty (30) days after replacement, whichever occurs later.
