Operation Manual

END OF GAME:
Once a player has drawn their last card from their stack of character
cards, they have no more cards to draw. Players continue to play until
they have played their last character card from their hand. Then the
game continues without this player.
The game is over as soon as the last location card has been scored.
The game is also over if only one player still has character cards after
scoring the current location. In this case, there will be no more
location cards laid.
Each player counts his gems. The player with the most gems wins.
GAME TIPS:
• Each player has an identical set of character cards. Use your
cards wisely and remember that the later locations offer
higher numbers of gems.
• Keep an eye on the cards your opponents have already
played and which cards they still have available.
• If you can play more than one card to
complete a location you may be able
to score many gems. In addition, you
will have the advantage of deciding
where to lay the new location card,
hopefully next to some of your
own cards already on the table.
The game creator and editors thank all the
test players who helped in the development of
the card game. Special thanks go to Iain Adams,
Ross Inglis and Kevin Jacklin.
