Operation Manual
AIM OF THE GAME:
Players move from location to location. At the beginning of the
game a location card is laid. As soon as a location card is surrounded
by eight character cards, the character cards are counted and the
players receive gems. The journey then continues when another
location card is laid.
Whoever has the most gems after visiting eight locations along
the way wins the game.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN:
The location cards are sorted according to their location numbers in
ascending order (1 at the top, 8 at the bottom) and put into a stack,
face up.
The location cards with the numbers 3 and 7 are discarded for
three players.
In addition, the location cards with the numbers 2 and 6 are
removed from the game for two players.
The location card with the number 1 is then laid face up in the
middle of the table. The journey begins at this location. During
the course of the game, the most recent location card to be
laid in the middle of the table is called the current location.
Each player selects a colour and receives the 18 character
cards of their own colour. Each player then shuffl es
these and lays them down in front of them, face down.
If there are less than four players, left over card sets
are removed from the game. Each player picks up fi ve
cards from their stack of character cards and holds
them in their hand so that the other players cannot
see them. Have the gems ready.
HOW TO PLAY:
The smallest player begins. Each player then take turns
in a clockwise direction.
On your turn, you may lay one or more character cards
from your hand face up next to the location card in the
middle of the table. Then, pick up new cards from your
stack of character cards so that you have fi ve cards in
your hand again. Now it‘s the next player‘s turn.
