Gameplay
After the command „Ready...Blitz!“ all
players simultaneously start rolling dice.
While doing so, try to succeed in completing
one of the tasks on the task cards as quickly
as possible. If you complete one, quickly
„thunder“ your thunder card down onto it and
the corresponding win/loss card. This
prevents all other players from claiming it. If
you claimed the last available win/loss card,
then the round ends and scoring takes place.
Then play another round, etc., until the game
ends.
Rolling and Thundering
Roll as quickly and as often as you can (or
want to), while your opponents do the same.
Set any dice that t with the task you want
aside. Once all three of your dice t with the
chosen task, stop rolling and quickly place
your thunder card onto the corresponding set
of task and win/loss cards, thus claiming
them.
Important: As long as you haven’t played your
thunder card yet, you can
always choose to re-roll
some or all of your
set-aside dice, if you
think you need
to (because, for
example, someone
else has claimed
the task card
you were working
towards).
Once all of the task cards have been claimed,
the last player is left with the „-2“ win/loss
card and must return 2 of his lightning bolts
to the supply. Each other player then gains or
loses lightning bolts according to the task
card they claimed. „-1“ loses 1 lightning bolt,
„+1“ gains 1 lightning bolt, and „0“ has no
effect.
Next Round
Return the thunder cards to each player. Put
the task cards into a face-up discard pile and
draw new cards from the deck to replace
them (except beneath the „-2“!). And after
„Ready...Blitz!“ the rolling thunder begins
again ...
Note: If the draw deck runs out, shuffl e the discard
pile and use it to replenish the draw deck.
The Task Cards
There are two different kinds of dice tasks:
1. A specifi c dice combination:
These cards indicate exactly which
three dice are required. You can only
claim this task once you have rolled
exactly the three dice the task
requires.
A total sum: These cards
indicate the total sum required across all
three dice. It doesn’t matter which exact
values were rolled, only that the nal
sum matches with the card’s
requirement.
Important: No task may be completed
with fewer than 3 dice!
