Chapter 4
In this chapter, you will learn more about the OSD or front panel
operations for advanced features, such as updating the channel status,
setting up the security feature, etc.
If your MCCAT is a two-tier system, you must perform these operations on
the first-tier MCCAT switch. Make sure you have programmed all of the
second-tier MCCAT switches as the second-tier devices; otherwise, any
operation or setting you have done will apply to the first-tier MCCAT switch
only instead of the whole system. For information on how to programme
an MCCAT switch as a second-tier device, see STEP 1: Programme an
MCCAT Switch as a Second-Tier Device (on page 37).
Note: In a two-tier
system, SCAN, SKIP, and channel buttons of all
second-tier devices are automatically disabled. However, these buttons
work properly on the first-tier MCCAT switch.

Toggling the Channel Sorting
The OSD Selection Menu can sort channels by two ways: channel
numbers and names. The default sorting is by channel numbers.
1. (Optional) If the OSD is not displayed on the screen, press the hot key
twice QUICKLY (default: Scroll Lock) to activate it.
