Defining SSL Security Certificates
SSLSecuritycertificatesareusedinbrowseraccesstoensurethatthe
deviceyouareattachingtoisthedevicethatisauthorizedtobe
connected.Thissectiondescribesonlyhowtoconfigurethecertificateson

Enabling Firewall Protection
DominionSXprovidesafirewallfunctiontoprovideprotectionfortheIP
networkandtocontrolaccessbetweentheinternalrouter,LAN(orLAN1
andLAN2ifdualLANunits)andthedialmodeminterfaces.
Enabling Security Profiles
DominionSXprovidestheabilitytodefinesecurityprofileswhich
simplifytheassigningofpermissions tousersandgroups.Therearethree
typesofprofiles.Twoarepredefined:standardandsecure.Thethird
allowsforthedefinitionofcustomprofiles;thisallowsassignmentofall
permissionsbyassigningonesecurityprofile.Mu

256Kperportbufferandcanbestored,reviewed,clearedorsent

Configuring Users and Groups
Usersandgroupsarerelated.DominionSXallowstheadministratorto
definegroupswithcommonpermissionsandattributes.Theycanthen
adduserstothegroupsandeachusertakestheattributesand
permissionsofthatgroup.Byenablinggroups,thepermissionsforeach
userdonothavetobeconfiguredindiv
