For information about upgrading the device firmware using the
Multi-Platform Client, see Upgrading Device Firmware in the KVM and
Serial Access Clients Guide.
Note: Firmware upgrades are not supported via modem.
Note: If you are using a tiered configuration in which a base Dominion
KX II device is used to access multiple other tiered devices, you may
receive a low memory error during a firmware upgrade if you have a
large number of user groups. If you receive this error, reboot the device
and then perform the upgrade again. If you continue to receive this error
after rebooting, disable tiering on the base device and perform the
upgrade again.
