Air Line Heater / Filter Heater - Installation

NOTE
Always install the unit so that the “Inlet
and Outlets” are horizontal (See gure 1).
This unit is not intended for use within the
hazardous area, (Class 1, Div 1, or Zone 1).

NOTE
Outlet hose must be nylon with a
minimum temperature rating of 250°.
Filter heaters and air line heaters should be in-
stalled as close to the point of use as possible.
Existing or new pipelines, should be purged to
remove any collected debris.
1. Select position for the air line lter heater
system. It is vital to depressurize new or ex-
isting pipe work before installation.
2. Install air line lter heater system onto pipe-
line so that the “Inlet and Outlets” are hori-
zontal (See gure 1).
3. The unit must be installed a minimum of a 3’
radius from booth opening.
4. Mount system utilizing the mounting brackets
identied in gure 2.
5. Connect main air, bearing air, turbine pilot air
and gauge air as identied in gure 2.
6. During initial pressurization of the system, in-
let valves should be opened slowly to reduce
inlet velocities until system pressures are
stabilized. Check for leaks before putting lter
heater system into operation.
