7. TALKBACK CONTROL: Adjust this knob for desired volume of Talkback. This is
used to monitor your own voice. This feature could be used for comparing TX audio
from different microphones.
8. TX/RX LED: The Red LED indicates the unit is in the transmit mode. The Green
LED indicates the unit is in the receive mode.
9. CHANNEL SELECTOR: This control is used to select a desired transmit and
receive channel.
10. ANT LED: This LED lights red when your SWR is higher than about 3:1. This is not
an exact indicator of 3:1 SWR, but it is an indication that you should check your
antenna and its components.
11. FRONT PANEL METER: The Front Panel Meter allows the user to monitor the
incoming signal strength and RF power output.
12. PA/CB SWITCH: In the PA position, the radio acts as public address amplifier. Your
voice will come out of the speaker that is plugged into the PA. SP. jack on the rear
panel. The CB will not operate when you are in the PA mode. In the CB position, the
PA function is disabled and the CB transceiver is functional.
13. CALLER ID DISPLAY: The Caller ID shows the telephone number of the incoming
call (if available) and the number being dialed.
14. NB ANL/ANL/OFF SWITCH: In the ANL position, the Automatic Noise Limiter
(ANL) in the audio circuits is activated. In the NB position, the Noise Blanker (NB) is
activated. The NB is very effective in eliminating repetitive impulse noise such as
ignition interference.
15. CH19/NORMAL SWITCH: This switch is used to access Channel 19 instantly.
16. DIMMER SWITCH: This Push switch has dual function; it adjusts the level of
brightness for the meter lamp and the LED. In addition, this switch is used in
conjunction with the Phone Volume UP & Down switches for setting the time for the
clock. Press and hold this switch for 3 seconds and the first two digits (hour) of the
clock will flash, set the hour by using the Phone Volume switches. Once the desired
hour is set, short press the Dimmer switch to set the minutes. Once the desired time is
set, press the Dimmer switch momentarily to activate the clock. The time is displayed
in military configuration (e.g., 1:30 PM will read as 1330 Hrs, 1: 00AM will read as
0100 Hrs).

17. PHONE VOLUMEDOWN SWITCH: This Push switch has dual function; it is
used for turning down the volume for phone call, and is used to set the time for the
clock.
18. PHONE VOLUME UPSWITCH: This Push switch has dual function; it is used
for turning up the volume for phone call, and it is used to set up the time for the clock.
19. ANSWER SWITCH: This is a m
ultifunction switch for Bluetooth operation; please
refer to the chart below.
