TROUBLESHOOTING
Factory optional water fill kit.
Close door.
Close door and set timer
to 30 minutes
Look for temperature rise on
the dial temperature guage
Water fills to high water float
Timing display illuminates. After
about 15 minutes the ready light
illuminates and the fan runs
Heats to 200 + degrees in
22 +/- 5 minutes
High water float
Water fill solenoid valve
Incorrect wiring
Start capacitor
Internal thermal protector on
fan motor
Fan Motor
Incorrect wiring
Hi-limit thermostat
Contactor K3
Control or relay board Substitute to test
Relay board
Use sensor diagnostics
Use 02 diagnostic to test valve
Check per wiring diagram
Standard test
Use 07 diagnostic
Door switch Use sensor diagnostic
Measure black to white motor
leads. 35 +/- 20% ohms
Measure orange to brown motor
leads. 35 +/-20% ohms. Red to
blue 42 +/- 20% ohms
Check per wiring diagram
Use sensor diagnostic
Verify 24vac across K3 Coil.
Use 05 diagnostic with power switch
on and lower float up.
Measure amperage through
heater wires.
SETUP EXPECTED RESULTS PROBABLE DEFECT TEST or COMMENTS
