13. INSPECT STEAM BOILER

13.1 Inspect the level sensor for calcium build-up, by removing it from the boiler. To remove it from the boiler loosen the

locking nut and remove the complete level sensor sub-assembly. Decalcify if necessary

--> TOOL: 12mm wrench

STEPS FOR PM TYPE 2

PLEASE NOTE: If you do not have a new or rebuilt BGA, and are following the alternative steps for on-site

O-ring exchange, please also exchange the brew shower screens instead of cleaning them.

PERFORM ALL THE STEPS NECESSARY FOR PM TYPE 1 PLUS FOLLOWING STEPS!

12. REPLACE COFFEE BOILER EXPANSION VALVE

12.1 Replace pressure relief valve

--> PN: 055757

--> TOOLS: 14 and 17mm wrenches

11. PERFORMANCE MAINTENANCE ON COFFEE BOILER

Coffee Boiler Valve

11.1 Inspect and clean coffee valve. Recommend decalciﬁ cation if needed

11.2 Replace coffee valve plunger

--> PN 054055

--> TOOLS: 12, 17, and 22 mm wrenches

11.3 Replace and lubricate O-ring to coffee valve

--> PN: 043366

CAUTION: Be sure that there isn’t any steam pressure in the boiler! See Step 1 for more information
