3.3 PRODUCT MENU: HOW TO SET DRINK PARAMETERS IN PROGRAMMING MODE

The Products menu allows for the custom programming of each drink product individually. Every setting

that can have an inﬂ uence on the taste, quality and consistency of the drink may be ﬁ ne-tuned using the

Products menu.

Each product button on the key pad represents a type of product in the programming. For example, on

a Model 5511 button number 1 typically contains all the settings for the single espresso.

PROGRAMMING PRODUCT SETTINGS IN THE PRODUCTS MENU:

1. Change the operating mode of the machine to, MODE 4.

M_4: PIN...

1.1 Insert key turn to the right.

1.2 Press number 4 button on the key pad.

1.3 Enter Pin code... 1849 by pressing the 1, 8, 4, and 9 buttons.

2. Enter the PRODUCTS... menu

2.1 Using the #5 button scroll to the PRODUCT menu.

2.2 Enter into the menu by pressing the #1 button.

3. Choose the appropriate product number

3.1 Using + (7) or the - (9) buttons to choose the appropriate product

number of the product that you would like to program the settings.

For example, Single Espresso is typically product #1 or button #1.

Please note: The product number will be displayed next to the “P” on

the machines display.

P_Price

NOT USED IN USA.

Amount recorded for one drink cycle.

Number of ﬂ ow meter pulses. Deﬁ nes the amount of water. (Options: 1 - 1000+)

TIP: 80 pulses = approximately 1 oz of water

P_Type

P_FM Pulses

Deﬁ nes product type, Coffee or Tea

0 = Coffee

1 = Tea (Hot Water)

P_Gram

Amount of ground coffee used, in grams.

(Options 0.1g - 16g) For example, a single shot may require 10 grams, so the setting would be 10.
