REMOTE START (AUTOMATIC ONLY)
•PushtheREMOTESTARTbuttontwicewithinveseconds.
 •Inordertoallowproperenginepre-heating,dependingonengine
temperature, there may be a delay of up to 30 seconds before the
engine starts.
 •Todrivethevehicle,pushtheUNLOCKbutton,insertthekeyinthe
ignition and turn to the ON/RUN position.
 •Withremotestart,theenginewillonlyrunfor15minutes(timeout)
unless the ignition key is placed in the ON/RUN position.
 •Thevehiclemustbestartedwiththekeyaftertwo
consecutive timeouts.
fuel anD engine oil requireMents
•UltraLowSulfurDiesel(ULSD)fuelisrequiredforyourvehicle.
ULSD-compliant biodiesel blends up to five percent, may
also be used.
 •APICJ-4LowAshDieselEngineOilisrequired.Foruseinmost
climates, SAE 15W-40 is recommended. SAE 5W-40 Synthetic is
required for use in temperatures less than 0°F (-18°C).
