WARNING
Damaged batteries must not be charged, used or transported.
» Theycanexplodeandcauseseriousburnsandres.
» Gases can be released and irritate the airways. Ensure there is a
supply of fresh air and consult a doctor in the event of discomfort.
» Liquid can escape and cause skin irritation. Prevent contact with
it.Intheeventofaccidentalcontact,washotheliquidwith
water.Iftheliquidgetsintotheeyes,ushoutwithplentyof
water and seek medical help.
Do not send batteries by post. Batteries are dangerous goods that
undercertainconditionsmayexplode,causingsevereburnsandres.
The preparation and dispatch of batteries must only be carried out
by trained personnel. If you want to complain about a battery, please
do this via your DCW/RU dealer. DCW/RU dealers are able to have
the battery collected free of charge under the terms of the dangerous
goods regulations.

Keepbatteriesawayfromsparksandres.Donotexposebatteries
totemperaturesabove40˚C.They can explode and cause serious
burnsandres.Furtherconsequencescanincludemalfunctionsand
a limited battery life. Keep batteries away from sources of heat (e.g.
direct sunlight and radiators). When charging the battery make sure
thereissucientventilationandobservethepermittedambient
temperaturerange:0-40˚C.Donotextinguishaburningbatterywith
water, only the surrounding burning material. Class D extinguishers
(foruseonmetalres)arebettersuitedforthis.Ifitispossibleto
takethebatterysafelyoutside,smothertherewithsand.
Batteries must not be short-circuited. They can explode and
causeseriousburnsandres.Furtherconsequencescaninclude
malfunctions and a limited battery life. Do not store batteries in a
box or drawer where they can be short-circuited by contact with each
other or with conductive materials (screws, paper clips, keys, coins,
nails or other small metal objects).
Batteries must not be destroyed, shredded, taken apart, opened up or
repaired.Theycanexplodeandcauseseriousburnsandres.Ifyou
have problems with the battery, please contact your DCW/RU dealer.
