Beforelightingthestovecheckwiththeinstallerthattheinstallationworkand
commissioningchecksdescribedabovehavebeencarriedoutcorrectlyandthatthe
chimneyhasbeensweptclean,issoundandfreefromanyobstructions.Aspartofthe
stoves’commissioningandhandovertheinstallershouldhaveshownyouhowto
operatethestovecorrectly.
IMPORTANTWarningNote!
Properlyinstalled,operatedandmaintainedthisappliancewillnotemitfumesintot he
dwelling.Occasionalfumesfromdeashingandrefuellingmayoccur.
However,persistentfumeemissionispotentiallydangerousandmustnotbetolerated.
Iffumeemissiondoespersist,thefollowingimmediateactionsshouldbetaken:
(a) Opendoorsandwindowstoventilatetheroomandthenleavethepremises.
(b) Letthefiregoout.
(c) Checkforflueorchimneyblockage,andcleanifrequired.
(d) Donotattempttorelightthefireuntilthecauseofthefumeemissionhasbeen
identifiedandcorrected.Ifnecessaryseekexpertadvice.
