A microphone amplifier and AGC are recommended. Both
blocks are optional. Several vendors suppl

rated micro-
phone/AGC amplifiers that can be used for this purpose.
Note that the AGC circuit can be simplified by using the SQLCAP signal as a
peak detector signal.
