Installation WHAT'S IN THE BOX? TOOLS/MATERIALS YOU MAY REQUIRE Quickfit Diverter valve Tape measure Quickfit Diverter round rubber collector Marker pen 12mm (1/2”) garden hose fitting and seal Drill 32mm (1 1/4”) hose fitting and seal Utility knife Screws x 2 Spirit level Hole saw 35mm (1 3/8”) Liquid soap HOW IT WORKS 1 - Determine and mark the position you would like to install your Diverter. Point the outlet in the direction you intend to route the hose.

Figure 1 Suggested Installation Orientations 1a. 100mm or 4” pipes No adjustments are necessary 1b. 90mm or 3” pipes Cut off one of the tips of the collector 1c. 80mm pipes Cut off both tips of the collector 3 - Trim the tips off the collector if necessary depending on the size of the downpipe. 4 - Compress the rubber collector and push it through the hole, ensuring that it is oriented correctly to collect water. There is an indicator on the front of the collector to show the right way up.

Maintenance To keep your Quickfit Diverter performing at its best, ensure you install a rain head above the diverter to ensure that no leaves or debris can become lodged in your Quickfit Diverter. If you need to check your Quickfit Diverter, unscrew the diverter from your pipe. Use only a medium torque to ensure the screws don't strip out. Carefully remove the rubber collector from the pipe. Hose or brush out any debris, then simply refit your Quickfit Diverter.
