Water Scholarship each year to a deserving
undergraduate
•This scholarship recognizes an outstanding landscape
architecture, horticulture or irrigation science student who
has demonstrated commitment to these professions through
participation in extracurricular activities and exemplary
scholastic achievements.
Congratulations to Sara Rueger, 2010’s
Intelligent Use of Water Scholarship winner.
•Sara's goal is to be an environmentally
aware designer who incorporates clean
energy, preserves water through the
use of drought resistant plants and smart irrigation practices,
and utilizes recycled materials to design social and ecological
environments that create a balance between human needs
and environmental health.
