HDD Enclosure Serves Home Networks with Videos, Music, Printer Access
and more
The ICY BOX IB-NAS903 is a quite versatile HDD enclosure. Connected to the
port of a Wi-Fi router it serves any PC in the network with data from its HDD
(not included). It comes with four servers to manage content in the network.
Samba allows up to 16 users in the network. FTP is responsible for remote access
via the Internet and the UP’n’P AV server enables an ICY BOX media player, an
Xbox, PS3, a webradio like the Noxon or many other media players to stream
pictures, music or videos from the HDD. Finally the DHCP server assigns an IP
address for the NAS903 – if necessary.
