4. Click the Yes button and you are returned to the main window of
the WinLink ™ 1000 Manager.
Observe that a link icon is now displayed in the status bar on the
bottom right of the WinLink™ 1000 Manager window.
The link to the remote unit is now locked. If you repeat steps 1 and 2
above, the Security screen will look like this:
The Link Lock checkbox is now unavailable.
Note:
The Link Lock status will only revert to unlocked as a result of a broken
link, for example due to an ODU being switched off at either end of the
link.
A simple ODU reset at either end will restore the link to its previous
locked or unlocked state.
