2.1ScopeofThisChapter
ThischapterdescribeshowtoinstalltheequipmentfortheTransportationFiberinMotion
solution.Itisdividedintotwomainsections:

2.2Wayside
TheFiberinMotionsolutionusesmultipleantennastoenableMIMOandDiversitymodes.
Thesolutionreliesonantennaspacing,aswellasdualpolarization/dualslantedantennasto
differentiatetheradiostreams.
2.2.1Overview
GeneralMountingArrangement
TheTBSunitmustbeinstalledinaRestrictedAccessLocation.
TheTBScanbemountedonapoleorawall,togetherwithitsantennasandLPUs.Toenable
bett erMIMOconditions,theantennasshouldbedividedbetweenverticalandhorizontal
polarizations.Figure 2‐1showsanexampleofaTBSmountedonapole
