CompactPCI bus
The CompactPCI bus is accessed from the EPC-3305’s PCI bus via an Intel 21554
PCI-to-PCI bridge. This bridge connects the onboard PCI bus (bus 0) with the
CompactPCI bus (bus 1), which may have as many as seven additional CompactPCI
devices connected to it.
The CompactPCI standard was developed by a consortium of manufacturers
known as the PCI Industrial Computer Manufacturers Group (PICMG).
