Updating the RTM SAS firmware
ThesasflashutilityupdatestheLSISASfirmwarefortheATCA‐5400andATCA‐5401RTM.The
sasflashupdatefileandtwootherfilesmustbeaddedtoaUSBflashdrivetoinitiatethe
update.
FollowthesestepstoupdatetheLSISASontheRTM:
1. ContactRadisysSupporttogetthecorrectsasflash.efiupdatefileforyourRTMandCPM
operatingsystem.
2. CopythesefilestoaUSBflashdrive:
• sasflash.efiprovidedbyRadisysSupport
• CP7_RA_xx.fw
• mptsas_xx_xx_xx_xx.rom
Note:FilesCP7_RA_xx.fwandmptsas_xx_xx_xx_xx.romarelocatedintheATCA‐5400‐
RTMbund leonthePromentumsoftwarereleasemedia.
3. BoottheCPMtotheEFIshell.
4. InserttheUSBflashdriveinto aUSBportontheCPM.
5. EnterthesecommandstomounttheUSBflashdrive:

flashdrive.
