Updating the BIOS from the Linux command line
ThersysbflashutilityisusedtoupdatetheBIOSfromtheLinuxcommandline.Theutilityand
itskerneldrivermustbeinstalledbeforetheBIOSupdatecanbeperformed.
1. InstallthersysbflashRPMandthekerneldriver.SeeInstallingtheBIOSupdatedriverfor
rsys‐updateonpage 41fordetai ls.
2. CopytheBIOS.ROMfilefromthefirmware/biosfolderfortheOSupdatebundletoa
locationthatisaccessibletothersysbflashutility.
3. RunrsysbflashtoupdatetheBIOSandretainthecurrentBIOSsettings:
