Step 4: Update IPMC FPGA devices
IPMCFPGAdevicesformodulesmustbeupdatedseparatelyusingrsys‐updatebeforerunning
rfw‐updatetoautomaticallyupdatetheothermoduledevices.Refertotheproductrelease
notestoidentifyanyIPMCFPGAupdates.
Followthesestepstoperformtheupdate:
1. DeterminewhichmodulesrequireIPMCFPGAupdatesbycomparingtheirinstalledIPMC
FPGAversionwiththelatestPromentumsoftwarerelease.SeeDeterminewhichmodules
requireanIPMCFPGAupdateonpage 17fordetails.
2. Runrsys‐updateoneachmodulethatrequiresanIPMCFPGAupdate,specifyingthepath
tothefirmwareupdatebundle.Thefollowingcommandupdatesthemodule’sIPMCFPGA
andassociatedIPMIfirmware:
