RadiSys.TheBIOSsetuputilityappearanceresemblesalegacyBIOSsetup,buttheCPM
AMIBIOSfirmwareiscompatiblewithanextensiblefirmwareinterface(EFI).TheBIOS
offerspre‐EFIinitializationandapre‐initializationshell,adriverexecutionenvironment,
andbootservices.
BIOS setup menus
ThesystemBIOScontainsasetuputi lityformodifyingthesystemconfiguration.The
systemconfigurationinformationismaintainedinthebootflashdevicesandisusedby
thesystemBIOStoinitializethehardware.
Accesstothe setupmenusisavailableforonlyashorttimeduringthebootprocess.
PressingF2duringbootenablesaccesstothesetuputility.TheDeletekeyisanalternative
thatworksinsituationswhereaUSBkeyboardisconnected.
