Table 9. Log file information
Log file Description Where to find the file
rsys_swm.log The log kept by the rsys_swm utility. This tracks
the verification of the configuration file and the
command line arguments, and contains the SML
return codes.
Located in the directory from which the
rsys_swm utility was run.
updateLog_<HrMinSec-Month-Day-Year>.log The log kept by the SML library. This contains
detailed tracking information on all the SML
operations.
Located in the directory from which the
rsys_swm utility was run.
SML report file The upgrade report generated by the SML in the
human-readable YAML format.
If no “-r” or “--report” parameter was provided to
the rsys_swm utility, then the default report
“report.yml” will be located in the directory from
which the utility was run. Otherwise, the report
will be located at the URI specified by the “-r” or
“--report” parameter.
