Establishing a SOL session
Prerequisite:ThisprocedureassumesthattherequiredsetupforIPMI‐over‐LANhasbeen

One-time SOL configuration steps
ThefollowingtwostepsconfiguretheCPMforSOL:
1. IntheCPMBIOSSetup,changetheactiveserialporttoCOM1,asfollows:
AdvancedSettings>SerialPort1Configuration>Serialport:Enabled
2. SettheLinuxconsoleparameterstoCOM1(ttyS1)tosupportSOL.
