4.0 D6200 Programming Software Overview
The D6200 is a PC-based application for Microsoft
®
Windows
®
95, Windows
®
98, Windows
®
98 Second Edition
and Windows
®
NT that allows the user to view, change, upload and download all of the D6600’s programming
parameters via a network OR the receiver’s and the host’s serial COM ports.

The D6600 programming is loaded via three different files:
CPU/Host/Network File
Account Database File
Line Card File
These three files can be modified, uploaded or downloaded separately. Be sure to review the previous
Section 2.2 D6600 Receiver/Gateway NetCom Installation before connecting or using the D6200. See
Section 4.7 Opening/Editing D6600 Configuration Files on Host PC for details on working with these files.
4.1 D6200 Software Password Protection
The D6200 Programming/Administration Software is password protected. To log in, the user must enter the
correct User ID and password upon opening the D6200 Software. Only one user can be logged on at a time. To
log off select File then Log Off.
A window will pop up prompting the user for the correct User ID and
Password necessary to log on again.
Note: The default User ID is RAD. The default Password is RAD. The D6200
passwords do not correspond with the D6600 passwords.
