Family, friends and staff members that can keep an eye on things are always the first choice. Ensure that
when performing tests, any pet at the test site is contained by some other means.
5.2.1 Initial Installation
An Installation Form will be completed on-site for each test location. Each test location will have (1) 4
Port Host transmitter, at least (1) Receiver, (2) 2 Port Host Shields
®
Wireless transmitters and (1) 2 Port
Host Shields Wired transmitter. More Shields units may be placed at one location. The objective is to get
all of the devices in the field. The 4 Port Host transmitter is designed to be installed with an LP4100 or
LP4200 surge protector. The following information will be documented while installing the test systems.
It is recommended all devices are configured in the office. Transmitter ranges should be set on-site and
receiver correction levels can be set on-site, if needed.
