a) 4 Port Host transmitter (Loop wire connected, unit powered and BBU inserted)
i) Break-Alert Test
(1) Test 1
(a) Disconnect loop – Does Break-Alert LED and sound activate?
(b) Reconnect loop – Does Break-Alert LED and sound turn off?
(2) Test 2
(a) Disconnect loop – Does Break-Alert LED and sound activate?
(b) Press and release push button on front of lid – Does Break-Alert sound turn off?
(c) Reconnect loop – Does Break-Alert LED turn off?
ii) BBU Test
(1) Remove AC power – Does Logo flash?
(2) Replace AC power – Does Logo return to solid?
iii) Power Test – Complete with Receiver set to Traditional (#1)
(1) Find edge of signal field – Mark it
(2) Remove AC power – Does receiver activate at mark?
iv) Document all findings on Internal Test Form. Add detailed comments if needed.
b) 2 Port Host Shields Wireless transmitters (Powered with battery only)
NOTE: Shields unit push buttons are not “press and release.” They are “press, hold and release.” (i.e.
