Press the DOWN arrow key to search from the upper to the lower limit, or the UP arrow key to search from the lower to the upper limit. -L- will
appear on the display. In this example, we have pressed down to search from the upper limit to the lower limit.
Step 7: Stopping on a Transmission
When the scanner stops on a transmission, quickly press HOLD (A/B) to stop searching and listen to the transmission. HOLD will appear on the
display. In the example above, we have stopped on frequency 867.6625 MHz.
Step 8: Storing in Monitor Memory
With the scanner in HOLD mode, press MON/CLR (.) to store the displayed frequency into the current monitor memory.
