Use an SD or SDHC Card
1. Insert an SD or SDHC card into the SD
card slot.
2.
Press PLAY repeatedly until the SD card
icon (
) fl ashes.
3. Press RWD or FFWD to switch between on (automatically
save messages to the SD card) and oFF (do not use SD
card), then press PLAY to confi rm your selection.
4. Proceed to format the recorder, or press MODE to exit.
Format the Recorder
1. Press PLAY repeatedly until For--
appears.
2. Press RWD or FFWD to switch between
YES and No, then press PLAY to confi rm
your selection. If you select YES, all fi les
in the recorder’s built-in memory will be erased.
3.
Proceed to set the date and time, or p ress MODE to exit.
n Note: Be sure you have saved a copy of your fi les before
formatting the recorder. Erased fi les cannot be recovered.
Set Date and Time
1. Press PLAY repeatedly to show the date
and time screen with the year digits
fl ashing.
2.
Press RWD or FFWD to set the year,
month, day, hour, minute, and second;
press PLAY to confi rm each setting.
3. Press MODE to exit.
n Note: In standby (clock) mode, press FILE to switch
between 12-hour (AM or PM appears) and 24-hour format.
