PREPARATION
Use this manual as a guide to prepare and use the
ProbeScope using either the ProbeScope’s LCD or a
computer monitor.
The computer’s software offers additional help screens
that can guide you through the many ProbeScope func-
tions, modes, and available options.
INSTALLING THE MS-WINDOWS
SOFTWARE
1. Start Microsoft Windows.
2. Insert the supplied disk into your computer’s A:
drive.
3. Click
File
in the Program Manager window.
4. Click
Run
... in the File Menu.
5. Type
a:\setup
in the Command Line box in the
Run window, then click .
6. Click in the Setup window to define the
directory where you want the software installed.
C:\PROSCOPE (the suggested path) appears in
the Path box.
7. Click to install the ProbeScope soft-
ware in the suggested directory, or...
Enter the desired directory name, then click
.
