X and Y Axis Home Sensor Replacement
1) Turn off power to the machine normally, or push in the Emergency Stop knob.
Raise the cutting head upward manually at least 12” to access the Y Axis home
sensor mounted behind the Y-gantry beam.
The X-axis home sensor is mounted above the electronics enclosure on the upper-
left reversing unit, and must be accessed from the rear of the machine, usually with
a step ladder or footstool.
2) Cut any plastic “zip” wire ties holding
the home sensor wire and connector to
the gantry beam. Use caution when
cutting the wire ties to avoid damage to
the wires or insulation, and use the
appropriate cutting pliers.
